I been using the trains before and during the transfer from british rail to the tyne and wear metro and now the new trains are on the way only thing is the lacckos seats as there be more people standing then sitting i I going to get some of the stick folding seats

We took the train from Milan to Tirano specifically to ride the Bernina Express. The train to Tirano certainly was scenic. We just didn't plan to spend anytime in Tirano and I didn't take any time to railfan in Tirano. Next time, for sure.

If the train isn't running due to weekend engineering work and you're offered the dreaded rail replacement bus service for all or part of the way, then the coach is not just cheaper but QUICKER too!

South Western trains are terrible. They are using commuter stock on inter City routes with no catering whatsoever. Truly dreadful.

I was sat on Thameslink’s ironing board seats for about 2 hours and honestly, they’re better than the greater Anglia seats that I’m used to.

Amtrak rarely has priority on the track in reality. I took the Coast Starlight and the entire trip was beset with delays and sitting motionless on the tracks.

I mean that should be the unique selling point of this railway service. In other words, this journey is for those who put a premium on unique views of the Norwegian countryside more than speed. Thus, it is more valuable to take this train when there is ample daylight. During the winter, you'll need to aim for a 07.00 or 08.00 departure.

They're not underrated. They're poor. Very noisy for long distance trains, and the overhead luggage racks are so narrow you can't fit any reasonable sized bag in them.
